WONDERFUL hard floor cleaner that picks up debris and mops all in one step.

This is an amazing cleaner for hard floors!

Assembly: easy. Snap the handle in. Put the main roller in. Fill the clean water tank and add cleaning solution (if desired.)

Use: Take if off its stand. Push the on button on the handle. If desired push the button below the on button to use more water/cleaner.

It doesn't vacuum so no dusty exhaust to worry about, but it functions like a vacuum and a mop all it one. It feels like you are walking a small dog...it pulls away from you whenever it is on. Like a mop you can clean most areas with one pass, but you will need to go back and forth over dried on messes. Unlike a mop it leaves the floor barely moist, and you don't have to rinse! It separates debris from liquids as it cleans. If you run out of liquid while cleaning it will automatically turn off, so you don't have to stop and check the level. After cleaning empty and rinse the dirty water container. Clean out the dust/debris bin. (It's almost like cleaning the lint filter in a dryer.) You can self-clean the roller by putting it on its stand and just let it run for a bit. Otherwise consider removing the roller and letting it air out in a vertical holder right on the stand to prevent any smells from building up. You can also just open the head.

8 month follow-up: Everything works well, but I noticed cleaning efficiency declined, so replaced the main roller, which cured the problem. (I think I would recommend roller replacement every 6 months if you use it frequently.)

Wishes:

-I wish I knew exactly what the strength and composition of the Hizero cleaning solution was. They only recommend their cleaner, so you can only guess at any alternative. They recommend AGAINST using other cleaners warning you might clog the plumbing with oil-based cleaners, etc. I haven't tried other cleaners in this product. The Hizero cleaner is has a faint citrusy scent that doesn't bother my terrible allergies, so I'm pleased.

-I wish Amazon sold spare parts for this model. There are a few generic Hizero rollers available, but not OEM for this model. The HizeroUSA website has all the supplies for online ordering.

-I wish there were a smaller head attachment. The roller head is about 11 inches wide, which is great for efficiency, but it won't fit everywhere.

-I wish the on/off wasn't so easy to push accidentally. I have inadvertently turned it OFF so many times when using it on stairs and holding it by the handle.

-I wish the charger were integrated into the stand. It's easy but inconvenient to plug it in to the charger after each use.

Overall: it's the best hard floor cleaning device I have ever used, and it's much less work than vacuuming and mopping separately.
